Kuranda Full Day Tour
Following your courtesy pick up from your accommodation you will head out to Freshwater Station and Kuranda Scenic Rail. Cruising through rainforest, tunnels and over waterfalls, this scenic rail tour will show you some fabulous scenery of this majestic part of the world.
Included in your tour is entry in to some great local attractions such as Kurunda's Birdworld, The Australian Butterfly Sanctuary and Kuranda Koala Gardens.
Tropical North Queensland is home to an abundance of unique wildlife and at Birdworld you will have the opportunity to see these native birds up close and personal as well as encountering some rare and endangered species. Continue on to the Australian Butterfly Sanctuary and view over 1500 butterflies of the local area before moving on to Kurunda Koala Gardens.
Here you have the chance to meet a collection of native species such as crocodiles, snakes, wombats, kangaroos and koalas, why not take the opportunity to cuddle a koala (at own expense) for an experience you will never forget.
Take some free time and explore the 'Village in the Rainforest' after your sumptuous barbecue lunch. Here you can board the famous Skyrail and glide above the rainforest canopy for a truly unique perspective of the rainforest and time to take in the stunning scenery.
Caravonica Lakes sees the completion of your tour with the courtesy coach awaiting to return you to your accommodation.
Enjoy a delicious lunch before free time is allowed to explore this "Village in the Rainforest".
Board the world famous Skyrail Rainforest Cableway for your journey to Caravonica Lakes. You will delight in the views and sounds as you silently glide over the rainforest canopy.
After arriving at Caravonica Lakes, our coach will transfer you back to your accommodation after a great day.
