8 Days/7 Nights,
approximately 27 dives weather permitting.
Day 1:
- Guests meet at Explorer
Ventures Cairns office at 1:30pm
- Bus transfer to General
Aviation airport for 3:00pm 40 minute flight to Cooktown
- Guests are free to
explore Cooktown (tours available)
- Boarding time is 5:00pm
with introductions and vessel safety briefing
- After dinner, MV Nimrod
Explorer departs Cooktown at 7:30pm and arrives at first
dive site at midnight, where she will anchor overnight

Day 2:
- 4 to 5 dives offered
today, including night or dusk dives
- Orientation dive at
Chellenger Bay or Pixie Reef
- 2 Dives offered at Cod
Hole, including a Cod Feed (weather dependant) or
Dynamite Pass or the Three Sisters
- Steam overnight to the
Far Northern Reefs

Day 3:
- 4 to 5 dives offered
today, including night or dusk dives
- Dive sites include
Aladdin's Wall, Royds Reef, followed by open deck
diving, where you are able to enter the water as you
wish, or simply relax onboard

Day 4:
- 4 - 5 dives offered
today, including a dusk dives
- Dive sites such as Cay
5 and 7, important bird and turtle nesting areas and are
protected
- Open deck diving
offered at Tijou Reef
|
Day 5:
- 4 to 5 dives offered
today, including night or dusk dives
- Dive sites such as
Bligh Boat Entrance, Picasso's and The Swimming Pool

Day 6:
- 4 to 5 dives offered
today, including night or dusk dives
- Dive sites on the
Southern Small Detached Reef, where you will find sheer
walls dropping thousands of feet

Day 7:
- 4 to 5 dives offered
today, including night or dusk dives
- Dive sites such as
Black Rocks, Lloyds Reef, Mantis Reef
- After dinner steam into
Portland Roads, arriving early hours of the morning

Day 8:
- Guests disembark the MV
Nimrod Explorer by 8:30am at Portland Roads
- Arrive at Cairns
General Aviation airport at approximately 1:00pm
- Bus transfer to inner
city accommodation
