The famous Cod Hole is located 200 km north of Cairns. On the trip you will experience spectacular diving, abundant marine life and the opportunity to see the giant Potato Cod up close.  Your itinerary is as follows:

• Wednesday: Passengers to meet in Quicksilver Dive Marina Shop (Port Douglas) at 8.00am. Board diversity at Quicksilver V berth at 8.15am, brief and depart between 8.30 - 8.45am. Dive Agincourt at approx 1100 hours.  Move progressively North through the day. Dive southern Ribbon Reefs. Night dive, dinner, games and video/DVD

• Thursday: Early morning steam to Pixie Reef. Passengers wake to Pixie dive (wall or bommie). Move to Cod Hole for diving and Cod Feed.  Afternoon, one or two dives South to Challenger Bay, moor for night dive. Dinner games and video/DVD.

• Friday: Early morning steam to Snapper Island. Passengers wake for breakfast behind Snapper Island. After breakfast, steam to Port Douglas. Arrive approximately 9.30am.

Designed to dive and cruise the Great Barrier Reef and the Coral Sea, Diversity will depart Wednesday morning for the 2 day 2 night excursion to the famed Cod Hole and Northern Ribbon Reefs, returning to Port Douglas Friday morning.

Based in Port Douglas, Diversity is a brand new, 4 star, 18-metre catamaran vessel, catering to a maximum of 12 passengers. With a cruising speed of 18 knots, Diversity will get you to your destination quickly.

Accommodations are in one of 6 fully air-conditioned cabins - 2 Premium Double/Twin Cabins (Upper Deck, own ensuite), and 4 Standard Double/Twin Cabins (Main Deck, share bathrooms).   The large dining area is beautifully trimmed with wood, and the quality, delicious meals are prepared by on board chef in the spacious stainless steel galley.
