2 Day Ocean Referral Course

Our 2 day ocean referral includes 2 days on a fast and modern day boat completing the 4 training days required for certification. The day trips are on one of TUSA Dive's vessels and they have a roving permit which means they can visit up to 21 dive sites on a variety of southern and northern reefs. The site selected on the day is chosen for its premium conditions over every other site available. All sites boast extravagance of marine life and excellent visibility thus ensuring you see the best the outer Great Barrier Reef has to offer.

• Courtesy coach transfers from Cairns and Northern Beaches
• PADI Open Water Certificate
• Fast transfer to the two Outer Reef
• 2 days of diving on the Great Barrier Reef
• Five hours on the reef to dive, relax and snorkel
• Morning tea and buffet lunch
• All dive equipment (including Dive Computer)
• Use of prescription mask if necessary

Requirements

• Current PADI Open Water referral documentation
• Minimum age is 12 years subject to a medical assessment as per AS4005.1. Children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by parent or adult over the age of 18 years.

Starts

• English courses commence daily

• German courses commence on application

• Japanese courses commence daily

• An AS4005.1 Dive Medical is required. Some medical conditions may preclude you from diving. Asthma, diabetes, epilepsy and pregnancy are the most common ones encountered. Children must be accompanied by parent or guardian during the medical assessment. A Dive Medical must be arranged prior to departure - a fee of A$49.50 (inc GST) payable direct to the doctor. Australian Medical Standards are different to those overseas. A medical obtained in another country will most likley not be valid in Australia.

• Non PADI referrals - If you have completed your pool and school training with another training agency (not PADI) you will need to have to do a 'crossover'. This involves a day in the pool and classroom and will take you one day.
