2 Day Pool + School Referral Course

The PADI referral system gives you a variety of options to commence or complete your diving education. If you would like to start you PADI open water certification and do the open water training dives elsewhere, then this is the option for you.

You are also invited to attend "Reef Teach a fun and informative marine biology presentation that will greatly enhance your understanding of the Great Barrier Reef and its inhabitants.

• 2 x passport photos needed for certification
• All stationary requirements needed for classroom activities.
• Comprehensive dive insurance
• PADI referral papers
• Accommodation transfers daily (city and Northern Beaches)
• "Reef Teach" Marine Biology presentation
• All dive equipment (use of prescription mask if necessary)
• PADI Open Water Manual in English, German, French, Dutch, Danish or Swedish. If another language is required we have Chinese, Korean, Italian, Japanese, Norwegian, Portuguese, and Spanish for loan.
• Log Book

Requirements

• Ability to swim
• Minimum age is 12 years. Children under the age of 15 must be accompanied by parent or adult over the age of 18 years.

• An AS4005.1 Dive Medical is required. Some medical conditions may preclude you from diving. Asthma, diabetes, epilepsy and pregnancy are the most common ones encountered. Children must be accompanied by parent or guardian during the medical assessment. A Dive Medical will be arranged by Pro Dive on day 1 of your course - a fee of A$49.50 (inc GST) payable direct to the doctor. Australian Medical Standards are different to those overseas. A medical obtained in another country will most likely not be valid in Australia.
