| The Cod Hole and Coral Sea Tour departs every
Friday at 5pm. The 5 Day/4 Night Dive Cruise has a total of 4 days
diving and 14 dives. The itinerary for the cruise is as follows:
Day 1:
Pick up from Cairns accommodation at 5:00pm and transfer for our
expedition yacht Taka, departing from Cairns Harbour. Taka will
take you to Cod Hole via the smooth waters of the Great Barrier Reef.
Day 2:
Taka arrives at the Cod Hole at approximately 8am, where the first dive
will take place. hose who are rusty will soon get back into 'the
swing of things'. See the myriad of fish and other marine life
awaiting you at Cod Hole. After a second dive you will move down
to the Ribbon Reefs.
Day 3:
Dive Osprey Reef in the Coral Sea. This location is one of the
most exciting shark diving places in Australia. Feed the sharks
and experience stunning wall dives, with visibility of approximately 50
metres.
Day 4:
Dive the Ribbon Reefs at various locations previously chosen for their
diversity of marine life and coral architecture. Giant clams, huge
coral gardens and swim throughs are usually seen here.
Day 5:
2 dives will take place today, nearing the end of the trip. Enjoy
the outer edge of the Great Barrier Reef, featuring unique coral
formations and fish life. Taka will arrive back in Cairns at
approx. 3:30pm.
